

Deloris was raised in Cecilia, Kentucky by her Ma and Paw, Lawrence and Daisy Holmes. She was a 1969 graduate of West Hardin High School and was a member of the FHA.
Deloris built a life of steady work and service to others. She was a hairdresser and owned and operated Classic Cuts Style Salon. She also worked in the fabric department at Walmart for eight years.
She was a member of the Hardin County Homemakers Club and taught several craft classes, sharing both skill and encouragement with others. A member of Valley Creek Baptist Church, she valued her faith through her relationship with Jesus.
Most of all, she enjoyed being everyone's "Granny" and loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Goodman and Josephine Snow; her Ma and Paw; and her loving husband of 55 years, George O. Kolley, Sr.
Survivors include two children, Junior Kolley (Tina) and Alisa Nichols (Scott); one brother, Larry Goodman (MaryAnn), eight grandchildren, Marlee Camp (Tyler), Sarah Bigler (Jacob), Kira Nichols (Taylor), Megan Erdman (Gerard), Onnica Nichols, Austin Nichols, Patrick Nichols and Makenzi Nichols; two great-granddaughters, Kylee Camp and Frankee Erdman; one brother-in-law, Roger Kolley (Frances); two sisters-in-law, Betty Hart and Myrtle Jones; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 2 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hill officiating.
Burial follows in Valley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation begins on Saturday at 11 AM and continues until the time of service at the funeral home.
