He was a native of Colesburg and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Adams; and parents, Clarence and Catherine Kerrick Adams.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandy (David) Williams of Webster, Texas, and Pam (Greg) Reesor of Glendale; one son, Randy (Carol) Adams of White Mills; one brother, Stanley Adams of Wisconsin; two sisters, Imogene (Melvin) Goodman of Elizabethtown and Margie Tharpe of Louisville; four grandchildren, James, Kimberly, Megan, and Nathaniel; and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens with Brother Arnold Moon officiating.
