Eunice Aline Duncan Lewis

Aline was born on July 30, 1928 in Hardin County. She is the daughter of the late Evan S. Duncan and Lily Fryer Duncan.

She was preceded in death by brothers, William Marion, Willis, and Charles; sisters, Alma Lois, Marilyn, and Beverly.

Aline is survived by her husband of 71 years, Harold R. Lewis; daughters, Janet (Richard) Heit, Linda (Jerry) Pence; son, Marshall (Linda) Lewis; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Duncan Emerine.

She graduated from Howevalley High School in 1946. She was an accountant for Cecilia Tractor Service and worked at Wickham Guest House at Fort Knox for 26 years. She was a member of Pirtle Chapter #449 Order of Eastern Star for 66 years. She will be missed by Libby (her poodle), family, and friends.

The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:30-8 p.m. and continues after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

There will be an Eastern Star Service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Glendale United Methodist Church.
