

Eva loved gardening, planting flowers, her cats, and feeding the local squirrels and birds. She was known to be a very loving and caring woman who went out of her way to write letters and stay in touch with all family and friends. She decorated year round for the holidays and spent a lot of her time with her family. She was also an extremely proud American, everyone knew her incredible story of traveling to the United States to marry the love of her life. Eva had a feisty personality that kept her going.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clyde L. Austin; parents, Aloisia and Amand Finger; and sister, Brigitte Schaefer.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marion Petra Galvin (Don), Brenda Webster, Sonja Hunter; grandchildren, Jennifer, Eric, Andrew, Kindel; great-grandchildren, Leighton, Austin, Liam, Carley; and sister, Edith Von Krosigk.
There will be a private burial of Eva’s ashes on Monday, March 10, 2025 for her to join the love of her life on their 64th Wedding Anniversary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the American Cancer Society.
