Frank Garcia

He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Wanda Foster Garcia; his parents, Carlos and Eloisa Gomez Garcia; a brother, Eddie Garcia and a step daughter, Alice Wheatley.

He was a native of San Diego, TX and retired from the U.S. Army after serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He later became a bus driver for Toby Tours. He was an active member of Severns Valley Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the church choir.

Frank loved to play golf, garden and watch EHS football games. He was a UK Fan and loved western movies.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Lucia Garcia; two sons, Frank (Marlene) Garcia and David (Jana) Garcia; two daughters, Sabrina (Dan) Drewery and Lorna Haire; two step daughters, Patsy Whitehead and Brenda Ross; two step sons, Bob Roach and Charlie Roach; seven grandchildren, William Riggs, Sandra Brasfield, John-Daniel Salak, Joseph Haire, Jessica Haire, David Garcia and Christian Garcia and eleven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
