Helen Sheryl Pendergrass Phy

She was a native of Pickett County, TN, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, and was retired from First Citizens Bank. She was formerly involved in the Lively Arts Council, a world traveler, and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Powell Phy; two children, Dr. David Phy (Michelle) of Birmingham, AL and Katherine Lynne Phy of Louisville; two grandchildren, Wesley Caleb Phy and Connor Elizabeth Phy; and one brother, Donald Pendergrass of Jamestown, TN.

A memorial service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12th at Memorial United Methodist Church with visitation followed by remarks from family and friends.
