He was a native of San Antonio, TX and worked for Altec Industries.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Cundiff of Elizabethtown; his father, Jorge De La Garza of Arlington, TX; one sister, Maria De La Garza and her daughter Marilyn of Newport, KY and a brother, Marc De La Garza of Tyler, TX.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
