Kyra Ketron was known by many loving names—Mom, Granny, Mam, Auntie Ky, Kyra and KK. She lived a truly blessed life, reaching the remarkable age of 102. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and shared her faith with all she met.
She was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church, where she served on numerous committees both within the church and at the Louisville Conference level. Over the years she shared many fascinating stories about the life she had lived, and everyone who met her quickly grew to love her.
A devoted Kentucky fan, she proudly wore her blue and white on game days and could often be heard singing the Kentucky fight song by heart. Living in Tennessee, she happily bled blue in a sea of orange. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions can be made to Lindsey Wilson University Scholarship Fund, at 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY 42728 or CampLoucon.org/give

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Fowlkes (Ed); her granddaughter, Krissi Britt (Jason); her grandson, Chad Fowlkes; and her great-grandsons, Charlie and Connor.
The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
