Larry "Bubby" G. Ashlock

He was born on September 18, 1953 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Ira and Rosie Lee Ashlock.

Bubby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cared deeply for his family. He retired from Fort Knox Civil Service after 30 years and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Bubby was an avid hunter and fisherman, who also enjoyed tinkering with old cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Richard “Lanny” Skees.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Pam Grey Ashlock; their two sons, Larry D. Ashlock (Allison Baumgardner) and Nathan Ashlock (Amy); a sister, Normaline Skees; and six grandchildren, Garrett, Kaleb, Kendall, Gracie “Gil”, Emma, and Ben Ashlock.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown.

Burial follows in St. James Cemetery.

Visitation begins from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 28th and continues from 9 AM to 10:45 AM Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
