Linda Akins Lee

She was a retired teacher and librarian of the Hardin County Public Schools and, later, of St. James Catholic School.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Emogene Jones Akins, and by her sister Mary Ann Akins Meredith.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Lee, of Elizabethtown; sons Jacob Lee of State College, PA, and Stephen (Kendal) Lee of Louisville; grandchildren Hazel and Ezekiel; sister Laura Ellen Akins (Jeff) Yates of Rineyville; brother James J. (Heather) Akins of Elizabethtown; and a number of beloved nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. The immediate family plans a private celebration of her life.
