She was born on September 24, 1934 to the late James Burl and Lou Etta Miller Ward.
Martha was the owner and operator of Etown Beauty School.
She was preceded in death by the husband of her children, Hubert W. Slinker; her parents; an infant daughter; and three sisters, Minnie, Joyce, and Ruby.
Survivors include her children, Tammy (Ken) Booker, Pam (Steve) Fegett, and Jim (Karan) Slinker; one sister, Sylvia; grandchildren, Steven Brady, Katie (Nick) Dodd, and David (Amanda) Slinker; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Carter, Sadie, and Dutch; a host of step- grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and mom’s second family, Tender Touch Heart and Home.
The memorial service is at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Visitation begins at 12 PM Noon on Saturday and continues until the time of service.
