

He was a native of Hardin County and was a member of Highway of Holiness Church. He enjoyed being around his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Dalton and Gladys Gertrude Hart Dalton; two brothers, Don Dalton and Henry Dalton; one great-granddaughter, Ella Dalton; one step-brother, and two step-sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia Conley Dalton; one son, Scottie Dalton of Leitchfield; three daughters, Shelia (Jeff) Skaggs of Magnolia, Vickie (Mark) Taylor and Kim (Nathan) Hodges both of Big Clifty; 12 grandchildren, Trista Helton, Travis Dalton, Travis Skaggs, Carissa Taylor, Quinton Taylor, Levi Taylor, Anna Hodges Dean, Keri Hodges, Emily Hodges, Mikayla Taylor, Malachi Taylor, and Lily Hodges; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is Sunday at 1 p.m. at Highway of Holiness Church with Brother Neil Bridges officiating.
Burial follows in White Mills Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues after 10 a.m. Sunday at the church.
