He was born February 19, 1949 in White Mills, Kentucky to the late Russell and Catherine Priddy.
Russell worked for Fisher Auto Parts for many years, where his steady dedication and dependable presence were appreciated by those who knew him.
He was a Kentucky Wildcats fan, enjoyed camping, mowing lawns, participating in church activities, and being with family.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carlene Priddy; two daughters, Julie and Katrina; a step-son, Jarrod Ballew; one brother, Randall; four sisters, Faye, Donna, Judy, and Penny; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 12 PM Noon on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Lifepoint Church of Elizabethtown, 401 W Poplar St, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42701.
Burial follows in White Mills Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 9 AM Saturday and continues until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
