Theresa "Tessie" Lynn Crawley Collins

Tessie was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a teacher at Cecilia Elementary School. She loved to sing, cook, and work in her flower beds. She was an avid reader and an especially huge fan of Dr. Seuss.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Roy Edward Collins. Tessie is survived by her parents, Larry and Nora Crawley of Shepherdsville; brother, Walter Crawley of Shepherdsville; sister, Lorie (Robert) Pace of Valley Station; three nieces, Anna Pace, Alivia Crawley, and Sophia Crawley; a host of family and friends; and her beloved dog, Jax.

The funeral is Friday, July 8, at Brown Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Andy Tucker officiating. Visitation is Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and continues after 11:00 on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Brown Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
