Timothy Allen Earl

Tim was born on March 16, 1953 in Detroit, the son of Don and Suzie (Rondy) Earl. Growing up in the Detroit area, Tim's family spent the summers in Houghton/Hancock. Tim was wed to Sharon (Wright) Earl on June 19, 1981 in Farmington Hills. He enjoyed boating, movies, NASCAR, and camping. Tim could fix anything! He had been tinkering with gadgets and engines his entire life. Tim's love of cars and cars shows earned him MANY trophies.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Paula Covietz, Carla (Ron) Wobma, and Abby (Mark) Levin; grandchildren, Keagan Covietz, Brooklyn Wobma, and Collin Wobma; brother-in-law, David (Renee) Wright; sister-in-law, Carol (Bob) Taylor; and beloved friend, Debi Parrack.

Preceding him in death are his wife of 30 years, Sharon Earl; parents, Don and Suzie Earl; and sister-in-law, Debbie Wright.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 11:00 am at Covell Funeral Home in Elk Rapids, with visitation one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
