On Sunday, May 26, 2013, Cynthia Gay Petrlik "Gay" longtime resident of Ellicott City for 30 years and a school teacher for the Howard County Schools passed away peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of George J. Petrlik. Loving mother of Becky Timmins and her husband Kelly, Emily Cox and her husband Bob and Todd Petrlik and his wife Jessica. Sister of Jenny Boyer and Michael Stup. Devoted grandmother of Ryan, Brooke, Josh, Bryce, Bea and Ella. She is also survived by many nieces.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Wednesday for a " Time of Friendship " from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8220 Old Montgomer Road, Columbia, MD 21045 at 10 am. Inurnment will be private.
