She was a great friend from early childhood and then we became sisters. We shared a room. We shared adolescence and our parents marrying each other. She taught me how to be more with nature and to love animals and be more present. To love the small stuff. We would go out to get cold, just so we could come in to get hot chocolate.

My mom plans to have a celebration in the summer where we will spread her ashes at the fish factory where Sheppie is and then to bury her ashes up in the Poconos with her Mother. We will be posing those details once we know them.

Dana and I worked together at my moms sub shop on LBI when we were in our 20s... we shared all our hopes and dreams, we loved to blast Melissa Etheredge songs and dance and sing. I always believed she had a special power because she could make you feel better with the touch of her hands which were sooo warm....I want to let her children know ( I met you 2 years ago at house Osborne island Nj) that your mom was special and that makes you special, I know you will be a light in this world 💕

One of the best things was being able to recently reconnect with you. We had some fun crazy times together and you had a presence that lit up a room wherever you went. Im glad we had the opportunity to catch up over the past few months and I know you were so looking forward to our trip. Words cannot express the depth of this loss. You were loved by so many and taken from us way too soon. Please be at peace. I love you.

Dana, it's always been "us"- a package deal. We have been together throughout the years. There are no words to express how empty I am. Missing our morning chats & our quick weekend get togethers. You're friendship has molded me into the woman I am proud of today, and I miss you more than words can express. Genuine and sincere, you always wanted the best for everyone. Your love was never judgmental or conditional. You raised 2 wonderful children. The mark you are leaving on this world is substantial. You will be missed dearly.
