Francesco "Frank" Joseph Nista

Francesco "Frank" Joseph Nista, age 93, of Elkridge, Maryland passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. Francesco "Frank" was born in Bronx, New York to his parents, the late Antonio and Dolores Nista; Frank was the dear husband of Marie for 72 years and a wonderful father to Frankie, Dolores (the late Mark), Anthony, and Maria (John); cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Jason, Nicholas, and Christopher; loving great-grandfather of Max and Reese.

Frank was so very proud of his service to his country for 5 years during the Korean War. He worked as a Statistical Supervisor at Ullico based in Manhattan, New York, and moved with the company to Maryland in 1983. Upon retirement, Frank and Marie decided to move to New Jersey but then returned to Maryland to be closer to their daughter, Maria and her husband John.

Frank’s faith in God was very strong and we know he was carried by the angels to God’s kingdom. His passing was peaceful, surrounded by his family. Frank left us so many beautiful memories. To all who knew him, we loved his quiet manner and his peaceful ways.

May his beautiful soul rest in peace. His life on earth was a wonderful gift to us all. His life in Heaven will be a gift to Him. When you think of Frank, say a prayer and you will know that he will put a good word to Jesus for you.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4795 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Inurnment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
