After an extended illness, on September 23, 2019, Lydia "Lyd" Elizabeth Jones (nee White) of Hanover, Maryland passed away at the age of 81. Lyd was the beloved wife of the late William J. Jones, Sr. and the devoted mother of Keith P. Jones (Melissa Pophan), Bryant C. Jones (Joyce) and the late William J. Jones, Jr. (Crystal); dear sister of Carolyn Sacker (the late Calvin) and John P. White, Jr. (Mary); loving grandmother of Matthew, Sandy, Cindy, Panama, Lee, France, Cilver and the late Katie; cherished great-grandmother of Angelina, Kalani, Kinley, Kendrick, Layla, Preston and Amity. Lyd was also survived by many nieces and nephew.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Life Celebration Service will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:30am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
