

Peter Paul Scali graduated in 1948 from Middletown High School in New York, and awarded the Footballs Most Valuable Player, 1947 Nickle’s Trophy. Attended Columbia University with a scholarship where he played tackle graduating in 1952. Upon graduation, Mr. Scali was employed as a chemist by Nepera Chemical Corporation in Harriman, New York.
In 1956, he was drafted in the U.S. Army and stationed at the Army Chemical Center, Edgewater, MD. He served 15 mos. and was granted a special situation to go to medical/pharmacy school. He attended University of Maryland School of Pharmacy from 1957 to 1960 where he was Vice President of the student branch of the Maryland Pharmacy Association, member of the Omicron Chapter of the Rho Chi Society, on the dean’s list receiving the dean’s academic medal, the academic achievement award and a University of Maryland scholarship.
He continued to reside in Maryland, working at Klymans Rexal Pharmacy, which he later owned in the Middle River, Revco, and CVS.
Survived by his wife, Janis Scali, two stepchildren, Laura Sanders and Donald Wieland; (Cheryl) his brother and wife, Nicholas and Barbara Scali, a nephew, Joseph Scali, and three grandchildren, Jordan and Colby Sanders, and Jacob Wieland.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Thursday April 9th 2015 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
