Roberta Louise Hunter, 87, from Silver Spring, Maryland, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Born on October 26, 1936, in Tennessee to her parents, Hunter James Peoples and Willie Mae (nee Mink). She was the loving mother of Richard Thomas Sweat from Clearwater, FL, and Joseph Daniel Hayes from Elkridge. Roberta was the cherished grandmother of Kimberly Sweat Holzer (John), Michael Richard Sweat, the late Sean Hunter Hayes (December 2006), and William Brooke Hayes. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
