If roses grow in heaven , lord please pick a bunch for me . place them in my great aunt shirley’s arms and tell her I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while because remembering her is easy , I do it everyday but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away . you will truly be missed thank you for the love the guidance , wisdom , and knowledge you’ve instilled within me as a child into a adult 
I will rejoice because it is well and you finished your course “GOD” said well done my daughter .

Phenomenal Woman who showered me with waters of love , prayer , hugs, lessons, laughs , discipline , protection and above all a safe place.

lol I remember you praying over my belly everytime I couldn’t feel her move. Lol You would pray but tell me that baby is sleeping, she gonna be tired of you after a while lol.

Aunt Shirley  you remember one summer we had great grandma Alice up late I mean lateeeeee and me and my sisters are downstairs cracking up with our great grandma alice to this move (LITTLE MAN) 😂🤣😭🫶🏽🤣 little did we know when that direct tv bill came we ordered that movie over 50 times NO LIES , 😂😂🤣😭😂😂😂 it was worth it , we didn’t even realize it at the time that we ordered the movie so many times , . .  we made a lot of memories at 9707 parkland , and at your other houses , you both are with one another and one day I will rejoice that your soul is with GOD but for now I’m sadden I lost the person who meant everything to not just me but you impacted so many people .

She definitely left an indelible mark on my life. Things that I learned as a young woman in the church serving under her and the late Great Mother Phillips will forever be a part of me. To this day, there are times when the thought of something she said or did will come to mind and it’ll bring a smile to my face and a laugh in my heart. From labor to reward….My prayers are with you all during this time. May God grant you strength and comfort to lead you through.
