Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, Dee passed away suddenly in her home on December 27 at the age of 77. Born on October 26, 1936 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Dee was the second oldest of five children. Separated from her family during WWII she later met and married her husband, Allyn Lee Faling, dedicating her life to raising three daughters; Rebecca (Becky) Faling, Patty Davis, and Shirley Martin; and four sons; Val Faling, Christopher (Chris) Faling, Harold Faling, and Dennis Faling. Although Dee worked different jobs over the years because her husband's career with the Milwaukee Railroad forced them to move many times she found her talent in story writing. Many of her stories were featured in early issues of Reader's Digest. She was most known for her kindness toward children, which sprang from her separation from her younger siblings, and her insistence on putting other people's needs ahead of her own through her many selfless acts of kindness. She touched countless lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but none more than her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allyn Lee Faling and her great-granddaughter, Ta-Leona Serenity Dawn Clair. She is survived by her seven children; Becky, Patty, Shirley, Val, Chris, Harold, and Dennis; her eight grandchildren; Tracy Clair, Bret Faling, Dylan Faling, Crystal Faling, Brandon Faling, Dakota Faling-Loupee, Nicole Martin, and Emma Davis; and her two great-grandsons; Michael and Marcus Clair.Services will be held on January 11, 2014 at Ellensburg Community of Christ located at 306 N.
