On Friday, April 5, 2013 we lost our beloved son, brother, father and friend. He was taken from us way too soon, but he did not suffer and is at peace now. Fred will be missed by many, but we have so many great memories. He was born June 29, 1956 in Ellensburg, WA to Richard & Ruby Rosenberg.
Fred had many amazing talents and passions in life. He loved to hunt, snowmobile, grow a garden, ride horses, be in the mountains as much as he could and usually in his truck. He especially loved to fish and always with his long-time, close friend Tim Cox. They had many good times fishing and made many hunting trips together. We'll never know who caught the most or biggest fish!
Fred spent several years traveling around the states working many different types of jobs. He could always find work where ever he was. He was a jack-of-all-trades, from working on oil rigs in Oklahoma, ranching from Montana to Kansas, feedlots and of course, he was one helluva mechanic. If gas was in it, he could ride it, fix it or get it stuck! He always prided himself in getting out of any ditch or mud hole all by himself. Just bet him, he couldn't do it and he'd get-r-done.
While in Kansas he spent several years near his Grandparents John & Omi Johannsen's home place. Fred was one of the hardest working, determined and stubborn men you'll meet. A hand shake was always honored and upheld. He was always the first one to lend a hand if anyone needed it. He worked through pain and never complained, just got the job done.
Fred no longer has pain, he's in God's hands now-Wonder what that meeting was like? Give 'em hell, Fred!!
Fred is survived by parents Rick & Ruby Rosenberg; brother, Tony (Jody) Rosenberg; daughters, Dusty (Jesus) Delacruz all of Ellensburg & daughter Tyler Rosenberg of Montana. He also has many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles. Fred has many special friends, all of whom he considered family.
The family would like to thank Steward & Williams Tribute Center for all the special care they gave us. To Sue and Kenny Barnhart, hospital staff, EMT's, Tim & Darlene Cox for all your support. And to Dusty, your Dad would be very proud of you & the amazing way you have taken the reins in this difficult time.
