Allison E. Burnett, 79, of Palmetto passed away of natural causes on July 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Fred and Catherine, a son, Deron, and two sisters, Mary Catherine and Beryl. He is survived by his wife Betty; daughters Deborah Carlton (husband Rick) Kimberly Markle (husband Chris); two brothers, Fred (wife Pauline) and Delbert, and sister Bebe (husband Leland); 9 grandchildren and 6 great – grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews as well as countless friends. Allison was in the graduating class of 1955 from Wimauma High School. He served proudly in the United States Army from 1957 through 1959. Visitation will start at 11 AM followed by a serve at 12PM on Monday July 18th, 2016 and be held at Groover Funeral Home, 1400 36th Ave E., Ellenton, FL 34222
