Audene ‘Deanie’ Anderson, passed away peacefully November 18, 2025 at Tidewell Hospice House in Lakewood Ranch. Deanie was born September 2, 1929 in Tionesta, PA to Ed and Marie Thomas. Her husband Stewart, 89, preceded her in death on October 3, 2018. She is survived by her three children, Tom, Ray (Jan) and Susie, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with one more on the way. Deanie was a licensed practical nurse and after retiring from nursing, she worked part-time at Bealls, and then volunteered at the Manatee Hospital Thrift Store until her eyesight diminished to the extent she could no longer see well enough to volunteer. She was very giving and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services will be private; however, donations in her name may be made to the Lakewood Ranch Hospice House, 11535 Rangeland Pkwy., Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211.
