Bonnie Wright, age 88, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at TideWell Hospice House in Venice. Bonnie was born in Pecan, Mississippi July 14, 1933 to the late Gladen W. and Inez Gibson Dockens. She attended college and later worked in hospitality as Guest Relations for many years.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her stepchildren, Richard Wright Jr (Kimberly), Cynthia Wright (Ronald) and Michael Wright (Jennifer); siblings, Barbara Flowers, Gwen Ennis, Gladys Lane, and Bubba Dockens (Wilma); brother-in-law, Harman Parker; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Gilmore, James Scroghan, James Trainor, and Richard Wright; children, Sheldon and Elden Gilmore; and sister, Lois Parker.
A visitation for Bonnie will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Groover Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will be held at Mansion Memorial Park.
