Charles Andrew Rose

Charles Andrew Rose went to be with Jesus at 5:48am on September 9, 2024. He passed peacefully in his sleep. He was well loved and taken care of in his last days. He fought mesothelioma since January of 2024. He won!

He was born on September 28, 1948 on Staten Island, New York. He was married to his wife for 44 years, Pamela Rose. They moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1997. Together they raised 2 daughters; Kendra Bray and Danielle Lively.

Charles is survived by his daughters Kendra Bray and Danielle Lively, son-in-law Dale Lively, daughter-in-law Phoenix Bray-Lang, grandchildren Kyler Blessitt, Kaylin Blessitt, Devin Allan, Jaxan Bray and Dane Lively, great-grandson Silas Blessitt, sister Sandra Jordan and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He loved visiting garage sales with his wife, playing chess, collecting movies, and working hard. He also believed in leaving a legacy for his kids and grandkids and will be remembered and revered by all of his family and friends.

We love you dad.

A visitation for Charles will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Bayside Community Church - North River Campus, 9505 Moccasin Wallow Rd, Parrish, FL 34219. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 9505 Moccasin Wallow Rd, Parrish, FL 34219. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave East, Ellenton, FL 34222.
