Clara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She spent most of her life doing for others. She earned her GED as an adult and was proud of that accomplishment. She was active in her church, prayed daily and read her Bible. She lived by a favorite verse;” do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. She spent most of 91 years of life as a home maker. However, she did spend time as a homeroom mother for both daughters' teachers, worked hard in their school PTA and a few years in the Oneco School Cafeteria. She also worked during tax season at the tax collector's office under Sam Cornwall. When she moved into the Palmetto Mobile Home Club, she shuffled with the shuffleboard club, loved walking around the lake and playing bingo. She also played rummy with her friend Lynn. She loved to travel with her husband, and they were blessed to have traveled everywhere even to the Artic Circle above Alaska. “Top of the World” as Mom called it.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Wynn and her only sibling Corena Ruth Reynolds. She is survived by her 2 daughters Daintie Joyce (Mike) and Elaine Wells (Terry). She had 4 grandchildren: Alisha Fair (Ryan), James Jack Joyce (Kelly), Stephanie Wix (Chuck), and Erika Blaney (Chuck). 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
