On Sunday, February 28th 2021, Dorothy Lettman Schultz, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 99. She was born in Winside, Nebraska on December 5th, 1921. She married Leonard Schultz on October 13, 1946. Together they had 2 daughters, Eve & Jean. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Eve Schultz, sisters Virginia Leonard and Elaine Wagner, grandchildren Jason (Kim) Bryant and Alicyn (Frank) Leistner, great grandchildren Madalyn, Harper, Logan and Brennan. She is preceded in death by Leona Wichman, sister, Jean Bryant, daughter, and Leonard Schultz, husband.
Dorothy grew up on a farm with three sisters outside Winside, Nebraska. Dorothy and Len with their daughters moved to Ellenton, Florida in 1960. She and her husband Len enjoyed farm life and their many cows, goats, pigs, geese, rabbits and dogs. She especially loved her pet goose. They left the farm and moved to Ellenton in 2005. The house had a pool which she dearly loved. Dorothy’s hobbies included square dancing, ballroom dancing, sewing, crafts, antiquing, dining out and spending time with her friends and family. Dorothy cherished her Lord and Savior, friends and family. Graveside service will be held at Groover/Mansion Memorial Park Cemetery in Ellenton on Wednesday, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
