Edith (Edie) Colton is survived by her identical twin sister Ethel Winans (Riley), sister Martha Groover and brother Robert Varnadore (Peggy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Richie, parents Lester and Kizzie Varnadore, five brothers and three sisters.
Edith had many joys in life including working in her beautiful yard, telling a good joke, laughing and babies. She loved to dance and was known to break into a little jig at random times. She was an accomplished musician and could play several different instruments. She loved both classic country and gospel music. Edith and her sisters created lasting memories by taking road trips and just traveling wherever the wind blew them as they went. Edith will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
