

H. Victor Kane, 96, of Bradenton, FL, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2024. Born in Fabius Village, NY to Hugh Victor and Maryn Kane, Victor was fiercely passionate about his faith and dedicated his life to both his ministry and his family. His ministry began in Tonawanda, NY and he later served many other communities in Bethany Center, NY, Lakewood, OH, Pawtuxet, RI, Wappingers Falls, NY, East Aurora, NY, and Ogunquit, ME.
Vic was a devoted husband of Nancy (Nickeson) Kane and loving father of Bruce, Sue, Marcia and Erica. One of the kindest souls on this planet, he was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly as an advocate for the homeless and those who were in need. His selfless nature was such that those around him always came first. Anyone who knew him couldn’t help but to love his infectious smile, humor and the way that he always appreciated the little things in life.
Vic loved golfing, fishing and was an overall sports enthusiast. He spent his retirement in Palmetto, Florida with Nancy. He was predeceased by his parents and his loving wife Nancy of nearly 60 years and leaves behind his sister Nancy Hoffman, his children and their spouses, Bruce and Shelley Kane, Sue and Richard Satterwhite, Marcia and Kelly Reil, and Erica and Rob Sullivan. Vic also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Natalie, Vanessa, Trevor, Kristopher, Maya, Matt, Jake, Stephanie, and Zack, and 5 great grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Abbey, Sidney, and Ava. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service honoring Vic’s life will be held on February 20, 2024, at the First Presbyterian Church in Bradenton, Florida at 11:00 am.
