Irene “Molly” Hullinger passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 22, 2026, after a courageous four-year battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She faced her illness with strength, grace, and unwavering determination.
Molly was born in Braintree, England, on November 12, 1937, to Fred and Vera Franks. In 1954, she married Norman Reaume, who was serving in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Essex, England at the time. She started a new chapter of her life in the United States, arriving in 1955 and making their home in Michigan, where she lovingly raised her children. She embraced her new country wholeheartedly, and in 1978 proudly became a United States citizen—an achievement that meant the world to her.
In 1977, Molly married W. Biddle Walker, and together they moved the family to Bay Colony in Palmetto, Florida. Bay Colony quickly became a cherished place for Molly, filled with wonderful memories and treasured friendships. She loved her home deeply and found great joy and pride in the community around her.
Molly leaves behind her four children: Victor (Susan) Reaume, Keith Reaume, Sherri Reaume, and Dale Reaume. She was a devoted and loving grandmother to six grandchildren: Rachel Aldridge and Ashley Keller (Darrell) of North Carolina; and Samantha Dominis (Nick), Chris Klepek (Samantha), Jason Reaume (Christina), and Zack Reaume (Julie), all of Bradenton. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren which brought her immense joy.
Molly was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her kindness, wisdom, and loving spirit touched many lives. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and no longer struggling. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
