Born in Welch, West Virginia, on November 7, 1926, Joe was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. After establishing a successful auto parts business, he and his late wife of 53 years, Lucy, retired to Ellenton in 1978. Joe loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be buried beside Lucy at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
He is survived by his daughter, Fran; son Joe Jr., daughter in law Melissa; grandchildren Joanna and Christopher, great grandchildren, Ava and Olivia, sister Mary, and special friend, Shirley Aiken.
