Matthew was born to parents Sam B. and Mary A. Reid on December 1, 1981. He graduated from Palmetto High School in 2000 and was employed by the Manatee County Port Authority as a Marine Specialist III.
Matthew is survived by his love, Ashley French, their two children, Bryson Matthew Reid and Kaylee Renee Reid, his parents Sam and Mary, his brother Jonathon Reid (Lindsey), his sister Cortney Clements, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Matthew was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Ryan Reid.
A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Rafter J Ranch Barn located at 10249 Corbett John Road, Parrish, Florida. Fellowship to follow.
