Patsy Irene Hicks (Qualkinbush) of Bradenton Florida, formerly of Jamestown Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2017. Born August 27th, 1928 in French Lick Indiana, she is predeceased by her husband John and daughter Cheryl.
Patsy moved along with family to Florida in 1974 where she worked for Tropicana until her retirement in 1991. Afterwards she worked several years at the Corning Outlet Store in Ellenton. Survivors include her brother Jack Qualkinbush of DeSoto TX, eight children, Terry (Sherlia) of Ellenton FL, Jack (Sherree) of Ellenton FL, Mike of Ellenton FL, Janice Payne (Ron) of Snellville, GA, Norman of Thonotosassa FL, Connie Motes (J.R.) of Bradenton FL, Patsy Geiger (Lloyd) of Bradenton FL, Bill (Lee) of Savannah GA along with 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, FL on February 6th at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with funeral services immediately following. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton FL.
