

He was born to Pablo and Paula Garcia on March 15, 1935 in Hebbronville, Texas. Raymundo was a long-time resident of Manatee County and owned Ellenton Fruit Company. After retirement, Raymundo enjoyed growing trees on his property.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Paula, brothers Ramon, Bernardo, and Paul Jr., sisters Felisidad Cavazos and Lucila Garcia, and his son Raymundo Garcia, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife Audrey and children Lucila (Bob) Whisenant, Bob Roy (Tena), John Paul (Tammy), Esther Louise (Wayne) Bellamy, Mary Lou (Rodney) Moulton, and Annette Laverne (Timothy) Durrance, and by stepchildren Shirley (Jerry) Rainwaters and James Roberts. He is also survived by grandchildren Daniel, Trey, Ryan, Bryan, Robert, Anthony, Jessica, Kyle, Bradly, Nathan, Jonathan, Kristina, Lauren, Joshua Caleb, Justine, Jacob and Emily, and by great-grandchildren Brandon, Darren, Bailey, Aundrea, Logan, Savannah, Cale, Rylen, Reyna, Bryson, Quincy, and Samuel, as well as by brothers Roger (Chris) and Oscar (Jamie), and sisters Florinda Sedillo and Margaret (Jerry) McColgan.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, Florida from 6–8 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Palmetto, Florida at 11 A.M.
