Though he kept mostly to himself, those who knew Thomas understood there was depth behind his silence and kindness beneath his reserved nature.
Thomas found comfort in solitude and peace in the quieter parts of life. He did not seek attention or recognition, but he carried a thoughtful spirit and an independent heart. He appreciated the small things many overlook: a calm evening, familiar routines, and the quiet dignity of living honestly.
While his circle was small, his absence leaves an undeniable emptiness. He will be remembered as a man who asked for little, endured much, and lived with quiet resilience. Beneath his solitary nature was someone who experienced life deeply in his own way.
Thomas was survived by four children, Daniel Easters, Kristina Murphy, Tabitha Goins and Tommy Goins. Thomas also had 14 grand children which he loved very much.
Thomas leaves behind memories that are subtle but lasting — moments of sincerity, quiet conversations, and the reminder that even the most solitary lives carry meaning and leave an imprint on the world.
May Thomas Lowrey Goins find the peace in rest that he sought in life.
