

With deep sadness, we share the loss of Tracy Lynn Rawls, 50, also known as Tracy Baby, T and Aunt T of Parrish, Florida. Tracy currently resided in Lake Placid, Florida and passed away on March 13, 2025. Tracy was born September 24, 1974. She dedicated her life to nurturing her relationships with friends and family and caring for animals.
Tracy grew up in Manatee County and attended Community Christian School and graduated from Palmetto High School in 1994. She furthered her education at Keiser University. Her career included being a vet tech at Ellenton Animal Hospital, Crankshaw Veterinary Services and various other places. Her commitment to animal care reflected her overall nurturing nature. Known for her vibrant personality, Tracy loved to spend quality time with her friends and family, always ensuring those around her were having a good time. She had a particular knack for making each gathering memorable and she was happiest when giving to others.
She is survived by her mother, Zora Rawls; and siblings, Julie Curles (Scott), Amy Buice (Scott) and Jimbo Rawls (Alana) and her nieces and nephews Jesse and Miranda Maness, James and Beau Buice, and Audrey and Will Rawls.
She was proceeded in death by her father James Dale Rawls in 2022, and her beloved little dog Tucker, in 2024.
A graveside service will be held on April 5, 2025, at Fortner Cemetery in Parrish, Florida, by Pastor Mark Albritton. Outdoor visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am follow by a service starting at 11:00am.
Fellowship and lunch will follow at Popis’ restaurant in Ellenton at 12:00pm and there will be a gathering for friends at the River Roo to follow.
Tracy’s life was a beautiful example of love and friendship, and she will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who knew and loved her.
