JuneBug was a simple man that knew no strangers. He learned to love fishing at a very young age in the fishing village of Cortez and then on the Great Tampa Bay. At 6’6” JuneBug was known one of the best wadding cast netters around and loved nothing better than filling the net full of good fryin’ mullet- there are no words to express how much he will be missed.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in JuneBug’s honor to be made to the Florida Institute of Saltwater Heritage (F.I.S.H.) fishcortez.org, Highway Life Church www.highway life.net/give, or to a charity of your choice.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton, Florida.
