Marianne Manley passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on March 23, 2025 in Encinitas, California, surrounded by her loving family.

Marianne was born on March 2, 1946, in Wels, Austria. In 1953, Marianne and her family—parents Heinz and Frieda, and sisters Erika and Christel—immigrated to the United States and made their home in Sacramento, California.

It was there on Akron Way that Marianne met the love of her life, Michael Manley, who lived just across the street. Their childhood friendship blossomed into a love story that spanned more than six decades. They were married for 59 years and built a beautiful life together.

Marianne had a gift for connecting with people—she made friends wherever she went. She had a passion for cooking and dancing, and she adored nothing more than spending time with her family. She found deep joy in being a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother.

Marianne is preceded in death by her parents, Heinz and Frieda Reinsch, her sisters Erika Danson and Christel Reinsch, and her beloved son, Matthew Manley. She is survived by her adoring husband Michael, her daughter Kristin Manley, her son Ryan Manley and his wife Alison, and her cherished granddaughter Madeline.

Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
