The birth of his grandsons brought chaotic happiness in his life, he loved watching them growing up as a proud grandfather. Shenbei also became “the person” to go to for his two “grand-dogs”, they could always get endless amounts of treats from him. With family, Shenbei did lots of traveling all over the world. Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, and of course China. He was a true believer in life lies in movement. Everyone in the neighborhood knows him because they see him taking his walk every day. Our family was able to care for him in home hospice setting during the last phase of his life. It was during this time, a hummingbird built her nest in their back yard and hatched two eggs. Shenbei would love to know that the young birds took their fledge and started a new life.
He will be deeply missed and forever in our heart. To celebrate Shenbei’s life, please share with us of your story or upload a photo of him.
