Ann (Holmberg) Hosken peacefully passed from this life at her home in Englewood, Florida with her family at her side on November 18, 2020. Ann was a quiet but formidable woman, fighting ALS disease for over 15 years. She was born and raised in Muskegon and lived in Kalamazoo, Portage, and Scotts Michigan. After High School, Ann attended the Bronson School of Nursing and Western Michigan University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She worked as a Speech Pathologist for the Calhoun County Intermediate School District for 20+ years helping many young people ranging in age from Pre-Primary to Middle and High School students. Ann was a talented “Maker” who became an expert photographer, seamstress, quilter, needle pointer and gardener. She was also an adventurer who loved swimming, camping, boating, and off-road motorcycling. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. Ann was preceded in death by her Father Roy Holmberg, her mother Jean (Hopper) Holmberg, and her parents-in-law William Hosken Jr. and Joan (Fry) Hosken. Ann is survived by her husband of 57years, William Hosken III, her daughter Kimberly Eberstein and son Daniel Hosken (Rebekka). Her grandchildren are Rachel Blood, Olivia Hosken, Holly Eberstein, Madylin Eberstein and Graham Hosken. She is also survived by her 5 siblings, David Holmberg (Shirlee Sodini), Lynne Holmberg, Janet Baillod (Gary), John Holmberg (Penny), and Roy Holmberg Jr (Donna). She is also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Joslyn (David). Ann was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
