MORAN, James W. “Jim” 79 or Brookville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Jim leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 56 years Barbara (nee Krapp) Moran, his son Robert Charles Moran of Cincinnati, two daughters and one son-in-law Susan Cummins of Brookville, Judith and Mark Wright of MD; 7 grandchildren Michael Wright, Erik Wright, Joshua (Chelsey) Cummins, Erin (Eric) Haston, Alexander Moran, Elizabeth Moran, Elena Moran. Also surviving one brother Michael (Alice) Moran, two sisters Mary Alice (David) Devor, Kathleen (Steve) Crouse, numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Lawrence (Beverly) Krapp. Jim retired was a Mechanical Engineer and retired from WPAFB in 1991 after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Marian Manor #3754. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road, Monday, December 21, 2015 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1000 West Wenger Road at 10:30 am with Fr. James Seibert C.PP.S. celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Jim’s family would like to extend a Special Thank You to all of the nurses from Hospice of Dayton and Genesis of New Lebanon for their compassionate care.
