Erlinda “Linda” S. Zamora, daughter of the late Regino and Concepcion Suniga was born on October 10, 1950 in Manila, Philippines. She graduated from Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce. She worked at Unilever Philippines for 30 years and had an early retirement to migrate with her family to U.S.A in 2000 of May. She was employed as Human Services Specialist in the County of San Diego, where she served dutifully for fifteen years.
She was united in holy matrimony to Pepito Zamora on October 19, 1975. Married for 41 years and was blessed with two children.
She was an active member and a leader of Marriage Encounter in Our Lady of the Assumption Church in the Philippines. As a result of her generous spirit and kind hearted personality, she was loved by many. Her Catholic life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever be remain in the lives of those who knew her. She quietly departed this life Monday, July 3, 2017 at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, California.
She was a devoted wife, a caring and responsible mother and a loving grandmother. She loved to prepare food for her family and friends, loves to dress up glamorously, a dedicated Catholic, very thoughtful to her friends, patient and understanding sister and a generous aunt to her nephews and nieces. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Pepito, her children Joy and Jojo, her daughter- in- law, Jody and grandchildren, Mikko and Mattea.
Her funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on July 17, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1170 S Broadway, Escondido, California.
