It's been said that time heals all wounds.  Hmm?  I'm steel bleeding : /....  My broken heart has a blue fire that burns from the depth of my sole.  I miss you so much my awesome Godson.  I will never forget.  Rest in peace...

I am forever greatful to have known you Mauricito.  As your Godfather I am proud to have known you and shared many memories with you.  I will always remember you for your kindness, big heart and childlike approach to life and love onces.  Thank you for sharing your life with us and thank you for being you. Mauricio, I know we lost touch after college, but memories of our time together will always live on. I've had friends and colleagues contact me to share fun moments they've had with you and hearing those helped me cope with the sadness felt when hearing about your passing. I'm so grateful to have had those experiences with you and I know I was a better person to have met you. You will never be forgotten.

Mauricio, you and I grew apart these last few years and I now regret that more than ever.  But I'm so happy to have so many fond memories of you and to have been your friend for so many years.  Remember our spontaneous laugh when we first met in 9th grade?!?  Or how about being the only 2 freshman selected to be in the "big kids" production of Hamlet?!?  I loved to laugh with you and joke with you and just have fun.  I will forever cherish those days.  You will be missed tremendously.  But I'll never forget you.  Soar on, old friend.

Unbelievable. I cannot believe that I have lost my mentor, my coach, the person who challenged me and made me work hard at every practice to get me both League and CIF titles. Not once did you give up on me. Even when I would show up an hour late to practice or show up with my sassy attitude. It's crazy how Wednesday night we were talking about how much fun we were going to have at the banquet and how we were going to tear it up on the tumble track. I still remember how I made you take a bite out of my hamburger even though you're a hardcore vegan-vegetarian after CIF bc I got a 38.8!

For my sweet Angel.. you are so loved. Thank you for being my partner and my best friend.

Mauricio, The Lord took you from us at such a young age, but I'm greatful for all the wonderful memories and the love you left in my heart. I love you and will miss you! Rest in Peace. ❤
