Miwako Anastisa Everts, age 84, of Escondido, California passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2018. Miwako was born September 17, 1933 in Japan to Tsuru Takehata and Tasaku Takehata.

Miwako had a great love of life and her family. She never knew a stranger, and enjoyed oil painting, making Japanese dolls, blue jean cups, crocheted afghans, sewed, and loved making ceramics. She was a big fan of the Padres and her favorite player was Tony Gwynn.

Miwako is survived by her husband, Roger William Everts; daughter Elizabeth Sardo; grandson Alex Sardo and granddaughter Catherine Sardo. Miwako was preceded in death by; father Tasaku Takehata and mother Tsuru Takehata, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
