Elizabeth June Castro

She was born in Fortuna CA June 22, 1960. She graduated from Fortuna High and College of the Redwoods. She also volunteered at the American Cancer Society.

She is survived by her father Tony Castro, and his partner Genevieve Blaha, brothers John Castro, and Ron Cummings, her best friends and care providers Nancy and Carl Stanley, her nieces and nephews Desirae Wilson, Kadde Wilson, Jamie Cummings, Ron Cummings Jr, John Castro Jr, long times friends Gladys Duncan, Jim Hohl, Debbie Warner, and Cindi Reeves. Along with her “adopted” family that is numerous.

She is preceded in death by mother Kathleen Castro, nieces Erica Cummings, Kristen Wilson.

Please no flowers- donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society, or the National Kidney Foundation.

There will be two locations for memorial services. July 26 at 1:00 at the Fortuna Monday Club, and August 4 at 1:00pm at 1400 A Street in Eureka.
