She was a caring, loving mother and wife and was a hard worker. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Gatlinburg and the cruise she took with her good friend Robin. Alma was the head cook at the House of Como for 42 years and took care of every family that came in to the restaurant.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel White; daughter, Brenda Tolliver; and sons, Larry and Jeff White.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Yvonne) White; grandson, Christopher (Marisha) White; great-grandchildren, C.J. and Daniel White and Jordon Tolliver; and seven brothers and sisters.
