Mrs. Andrea Marie Goin

She served as director of Henderson County CASA for 20 years, after spending 25 years working in Social Services in Little Rock, AR. Ande graduated from North High School in 1967 and was a member of NHS Gals ’67. She was a member of Old North UMC and volunteered with Chemo Buddies at Deaconess Gateway. Ande was an avid reader, especially enjoying murder mysteries. She loved to travel, listen to music, and adored animals. Ande was devoted to her family and was a wonderful cook.

Ande was preceded in death by her father, Jon “Bud” Goin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Charles “Charlie” Alvey; mother, Sue Goin; brothers, Tom Goin and Tim Goin (Linda); nieces and nephews, Lexi Goin, JT Goin, and Owen Goin; Charlie’s children, Heather Alvey, Julia Morris, and Chad Alvey; grandchildren, Holden McNeal, Violet Toone, and Asher Toone; and beloved dog, Ava.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Old North UMC, 4201 Stringtown Rd. Evansville, IN. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at church.
